2. Bahama Coin & Stamp
This is the sort of collector's shop that you could find anywhere in the world - small, unassuming, and filled with rare and unusual pieces of paper and metal. The only items that are displayed on the sales floor are sets of gift stamps that depict animals, aviation, Disney characters, and so forth. Most of the merchandise is behind glass. Collectible stamps and coins - some dating back hundreds of years - range from US$8 to US$40, and more. The only ordinary items to be found here are postcards (25 cents apiece) and plated gold earrings which, at US$15 a pair, cost less than almost any single coin in the display cases.
